The project involved the full refurbishment of a seventh-floor apartment within a residential building in Canada Water. The brief included reconfiguring the bathroom layout to improve functionality, alongside a complete internal upgrade to deliver a refined, contemporary living space.

Oaklex managed the full construction process, delivering the refurbishment within an occupied, multi-storey building environment. Particular attention was required to coordination, access and sequencing to ensure works were carried out efficiently and with minimal disruption.

The scope included:

  • Full internal refurbishment

  • Bathroom layout reconfiguration

  • Installation of concealed bifold doors to maximise spatial efficiency

  • Design and installation of bespoke joinery, including a custom bar feature

  • Coordination of all trades and quality control throughout the build

Close collaboration with the design team ensured that bespoke elements were integrated seamlessly within the overall scheme.

The completed apartment delivers a calm, well-resolved interior with carefully considered spatial improvements and bespoke detailing. The project demonstrates Oaklex’s experience in delivering high-quality refurbishments within multi-storey residential buildings, where planning, coordination and attention to detail are critical.
